We are a ship-owner Company looking for an accountant. This is a newly created role.

The Company is located near Buona Vista/ Queenstown area

We are hiring Singaporeans & PR only

Job responsibilities

Responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the Company (Including full set of accounts).

Responsible for compliance, controls, banking, audit & tax matters

Preparation of journal entries and balance sheet schedules

Preparation of payments for approvals

Maintenance of all financial ledgers

Reconciliations of Inter-company accounts and bank accounts

Liaise with external parties (i.e. auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial and bankers) when necessary

Assist other related entities on accounting matters

Ad hoc assignments

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, Business or a related discipline with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in full set accounting

Candidates with less experience is welcome to join if they possess the right attitude and technical skillsets

Strong accounting knowledge

A proactive team player with the ability to work independently

Have the maturity and interpersonal skill to deal effectively with both internal and external parties

Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Availability to commence work in the next 1 to 2 months
